Welcome to Baltic Morphology 12!

Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the organizing committee, I have the great pleasure of inviting you to participate in the 12th Baltic Morphology Conference in Tartu, from 10 - 12 June, 2027. This is a traditional event that rotates among the Baltic countries – Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia. University of Tartu, Estonia, has hosted the meeting in 2005, 2011, and 2017. Thus, this is the fourth time Tartu has had the opportunity to bring together colleagues from across the Baltics as well as neighboring countries. It should be emphasized that, for the first time, the Baltic Morphology meeting will be organized together with the Finnish anatomical society, Anatomici Fenniae.

The conference program will cover all fields of morphological sciences, including cell biology, developmental biology, gross anatomy, histology, and physical anthropology. In addition, presentations about the history and the educational aspects of morphological sciences are invited.

Baltic Morphology Meetings are forums not only for communicating advances in research but also for building both institutional and personal connections. As the history of Baltic Morphology meetings has shown, they have always been long-awaited reunions of colleagues.

Tartu is known as the ‘City of Good Thoughts’. Let the vibe of an old but youthful city bring you fruitful ideas and good emotions during your stay in Tartu.
